     The “Pavise” punch-shield is designed to by-pass your opponent’s block and deliver powerful impulse damage, causing shock, surprise, destabilization and a possible knockout. Nothing can compare with a good punch from an attack-shield, and the ‘Pavise” is one of the hardest hitting.
The curve of the shield allows it to rest more comfortably on the arm, while extending its combat-life dramatically by increasing the rate of deflection. Both a powerful weapon and a bastion of protection, BT’s “Pavise’ punch-shield is a reminder that the innovations of the past are not only still viable, but often preferable in modern buhurts and mass battles.
Constructed using 12 mm composite plywood, then covered with durable fabric, glued and painted (which further increases durability), for hard, heavy-hitting work in all full-contact steel-fighting leagues.
Edges are reinforced by thick rope and high-quality leather, with the attack edge having additional hidden metal reinforcement.
Punch-shield “Pavise” comes equipped with two forearm and palm straps made of leather for a truly secure fit, increasing your agility and damage-dealing ability with the shield, as well as decreasing your chances of losing it.
Shield painting or color patterns are available upon request. The cost of the painting depends on the difficulty of the picture. Our manager will calculate the price after finalizing your requirements. :)
