Nasal bascinet “Crusader” consists of a 3 mm top and a 2 mm bottom, both made using high-quality hardened steel for serious, long-lasting protection.
The grated face-protection is made using 6 mm hardened steel, and is hidden under the chainmail - this combination gives powerful protection from the heavy blows of poleaxes, halberds, and shield-punches.
Comes equipped with four straps by default: two chin straps, and two straps for fixation to body armor - including a “Simon Strap” for securing your helm to the back of your breastplate for added safety.
Includes a thick, protective liner which absorbs and distributes concussive force, as well as ensures an optimized fit, a chainmail aventail and padded collar - which you can choose to attach a hidden plate pack to: Heavy Duty - for Maximum Protection, or Ranger for a lighter, more mobile option - available in hardened steel or titanium, to help keep you fighting for years to come. This configuration provides excellent range of motion for the neck and head and doesn’t leave any gaps between the helmet and neck.
