     The historically sourced bascinet with a grated visor is the most recognizable helmet in professional buhurt sport, and for good reason - it provides the most optimized combination of stats for tactical awareness, air-flow for breathing, weight for protection vs mobility, and it still feels safe. Bascinet “Wolf Ribs - Classic” is one of the most customizable helmets available: by choosing a simple cloth aventail and a smooth nose-bar, you’ve just lowered your weight significantly, and now possess a fantastic build for speed and maneuverability - or go the other direction: choose a knuckled nose-bar, chainmail aventail, and one of our hidden plate packs, and you’ve just leveled-up your helmet with no loss of breathability or tactical awareness.
“Wolf Ribs - Classic” consists of a 3 mm top and a 2 mm bottom, both made using high-quality hardened steel for serious, long-lasting protection.
The visor and ribs both rest at an optimal distance from your face, creating a safety barrier not only between you and your opponents’ weapons, but also between your face and the visor.
 Both the smooth nose-bar and the ribs/grates of bascinet “Wolf Ribs” are created using high-quality hardened steel, with the grates/ribs being 6mm thick for maximum protection and longevity in buhurt sport.
Comes equipped with three straps by default: two chin straps, and a “Simon Strap” for securing your helm to the back of your breastplate for added safety.
Includes a thick, protective liner which absorbs and distributes concussive force, as well as ensures an optimized fit - and finally - allows you to add reinforcement in the form of a Chainmail Aventail, and/or a hidden plate pack (Heavy Duty - for Maximum Protection, or Ranger for a lighter, more mobile option) which is available in hardened steel or titanium.
