Bascinet, “Griffin”
 
     One of the most popular, protective, and powerful-looking helmets in buhurt sport, the bascinet “Griffin” has intimidated foes for hundreds of years. With historical sources from Germany, France, Italy and England, the “Griffin” bascinet is a tried and tested design that spans multiple centuries.
 
     Expertly forged to withstand the sustained-intensity of full-contact medieval battles and buhurt sport, both the skull of the bascinet and visor are made using 2.5 mm hardened 30 hgsa steel to protect your savage, yet comely countenance from harm.
The “Griffin” bascinet includes: 
Equipped with three straps by default: two chin straps, and a “Simon Strap” for securing your helm to the back of your breastplate for added safety.
Includes a thick, protective, Buhurt Tech helmet-liner which absorbs and distributes concussive force, as well as ensures an optimized fit for maximum protection.
Includes a chainmail aventail with a padded collar - which you can choose to attach a hidden plate pack (Heavy Duty - for Ultimate Protection, or Ranger - for a lighter, more mobile option), which are available in hardened steel or titanium to help keep you fighting in the lists for years to come.
Breathing holes and visor length in new helmets are adapted to the latest authenticity rules.
