6 total, riveted segments; with each overlapping plate curving stylishly down to a point, and possessing a central ridge that runs the length of the armor, adding to its durability and unique visual appeal.
Both the shoulder-cop and lower cannon are attached with sliding rivets, allowing them to collapse slightly into their connecting lames for added mobility/dexterity - a bonus for both attack and defense.
The lower-cannon (which covers the lower bicep down to the elbow), posses a rolled-edge on the bottom 3/5ths of the segment (the final 2/5ths being covered by your elbow-cop, negating the need for the rolled-edge to continue) to add extra durability and protective capability.
