Axe “Comet” is an explosive, intimidating piece of steel that is deceptively light in your hands. Based on the surviving example seen above,  “Comet” is balanced just right for dropping heavy volleys of chop-chop action, and it’s light enough that you can add a counter-weight pommell to aid in recovery time and attack speed.
The octagonal-shaft allows you to feel the direction of the axe without having to look at it, and keeps "Comet" from twisting in your hands after a successful strike.
Shafts can be made in different types of wood: beech / ash / composite with bamboo.
