Axe, “Penitent”
 
     Introducing another historical choppy-boi from Buhurt Technologies! The “Penitent” viking axe is a fast and furious chopper with an elegant blade - one of those axes where you can rain down hit after hit on your opponent, forcing them into a sloppy counter-attack, or a quick retreat. 
 
     Axe “Penitent” is excellent for both close and middle-range attacks. Thanks to its clever design, it packs enough weight to give you pain-out options, while still being light enough to deliver volleys of fast, punishing attacks.
 
     Modified and constructed to meet requirements for full-contact medieval combat and buhurt sport, axe “Penitent” is based on multiple extant examples, and was a commonly used shape (although, rarely with the clever cross design) in combat for nearly a thousand years - a tried and true weapon of war, to be certain. 
 
     The “Penitent” axe is forged using high-quality spring-steel and can be hafted on your choice of: Beech / Ash / or Composite with Bamboo, which is then reinforced using thick, cotton-glued wire and linen tape to protect and extend the longevity of the weapon.
