     Since most maces weigh-in near (or at) max weight in order to be effective as a weapon, “Juggernaut” is no exception. The real differences can always be found in the shape and balance of the mace-head. Differences in the mace's flange design often dictate its use, “Juggernaut” being a prime example, having a shape that begs to be unloaded on an opponent’s exposed sides or back.
The six flanges of the “Juggernaut” mace have an interesting, almost beak-like curvature which gives the mace a nice damage bonus against brigandines, biting especially hard on titanium armor. 
The shaft’s octagonal shape gives fantastic balance and incredible wood strength, while also keeping the mace from twisting in your hands after a successful strike.
